From Toys for Tots fundraising to scholarship and community service committees, Michelle’s work in Camden County has centered on people, time, and responsibility.
In Camden County, Michelle has served as Fundraising Head for Toys for Tots, worked on community service and scholarship committees, and taken on seven civic roles across 2025 and 2026. The titles matter less than the people behind them: families, students, neighbors, and the organizations doing the work every week.
Community work became part of my calendar quickly. In 2025 and 2026, I served as Fundraising Head for Toys for Tots in Camden and Charlton Counties, joined the Community Service Committee, and in 2026 added the Scholarship Awards Committee. Different responsibilities, same reason for taking them on: families, students, and the local organizations doing the work deserve time, attention, and people willing to carry a share of it.
Most of it is ordinary on purpose: fundraising, committee meetings, scholarship work, local programs, and the time it takes to keep all of it moving. That is where Michelle tends to be most useful.
Toys for Tots brings together local businesses, volunteers, and families around a practical need. Michelle’s role has been to help carry the fundraising side of that work.
Committee work is rarely visible, but it is where many local efforts begin. Michelle contributes time to the planning, coordination, and follow-through behind them.
Scholarship work puts attention on students and what comes next. Michelle serves on the committee responsible for helping support that process.
Leadership Camden and the Chamber create space to understand the county through the people and organizations shaping it. Michelle stays involved in both.
The Navy League, the Realtors association, and other civic roles keep Michelle connected to the people doing the work across Camden County. Presence matters most when it is consistent.
